3.9 – co, něco, nic  adjective

Let’s start by looking at the following sentences:

Dáš si něco sladkého?

Will you have something sweet?

Vidíš něco zajímavého?

Do you see anything interesting?

Nemám nic drahého.

I have nothing expensive.

Co je nového?

What’s new?

Chtěla bych něco smaženého.

I would like something fried.

Take a look at the sentences above. They each include co, něco, or nic an adjective with the ending -ého/-ího (hard stem/soft stem).

něco – something

nic – nothing
